Smoked Pecan Pie
Ingredients
1 Prepared pie crust
3 Eggs
1 Cup light corn syrup
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups chopped pecans
Instructions
Prepare the filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, light corn syrup, melted butter, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans. Stir until everything is well mixed and evenly incorporated.
Fill the crust
Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading the pecans out evenly.
Smoke the pie
Preheat your smoker to 350°F
Place the pie in the smoker and cook for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
Chill and serve
Allow the pie to cool slightly, then place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour to firm up.
Slice, serve, and enjoy that smoky sweetness!
