Smoked Pork Ribs on the Pellet Grill

Ingredients & Seasoning

Pork ribs

Ope We’re Smokin’ All Purpose

Ope We’re Smokin’ Rib Rub

Ope We’re Smokin’ Honey Chipotle Rub

Apple cider vinegar

Apple juice

4 tablespoons butter

Yellow Mustard

Brown sugar

Your favorite BBQ sauce (we recommend Puck’s BBQ)

Instructions

Prep and Season

Lather the Ribs in yellow mustard (optional)

Lightly season on all sides with Ope We’re Smokin’ All Purpose

Mildly season with Rib Rub, and lastly with the Honey Chipotle Rub

Let the ribs rest while you preheat the smoker

Smoke the Ribs

Preheat your smoker to 275°F.

Place ribs on the smoker, meat side up.

In a spray bottle, mix apple cider vinegar and apple juice.

Spritz the ribs once every hour while they are unwrapped to keep them moist.

Continue smoking until the internal temperature reaches 175–180°F or until the bark is set.

Wrap em' up

Lay out a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil.

Add 4 tablespoons of butter and a sprinkle of brown sugar.

Place the ribs meat side down onto the butter and sugar.

Wrap tightly in foil to seal in moisture.

Return to the smoker and cook until internal temperature reaches 203°F.

Sauce and Finish

Remove the ribs from the foil and place back on the smoker, meat side up.

Lightly brush with your favorite BBQ sauce (we love Puck’s BBQ).

Cook for an additional 5–10 minutes to allow the sauce to set and become tacky.

Serve!
